St Thérèse in Lancaster: DVD of the visit

A DVD of the visit of St Thérèse to Lancaster is now available. It covers the arrival and departure, one of the Masses, veneration of the relics and interviews with some of the people who came. If you'd like a copy, let us know and we'll put you on the list. More details here.

The purpose of this website

This blog was set up in preparation for the visit of the relics of St Thérèse to Lancaster Cathedral (28th-30th September 2009). This extraordinary event drew around 6500 people and was a great time of grace in the life of our local Church. Now this blog forms an archive of the events of those days, and gives some information about the life of Thérèse and her 2009 visit to England and Wales.

Lancaster Cathedral: is the mother church of the Catholic Diocese of Lancaster, which stretches from Preston to the Scottish border. The Cathedral acts as a focal point for the diocese, as well as being home to a vibrant parish community. It also hosts a number of concerts and cultural events throughout the year.
